Throughout the 1970’s Dr. Samuel J. Citron got it upon himself to interview leading regulators on unique topics in modern Jewish history, mainly associated with the State of Israel.

Over the course of a decade of painstaking work, he completed the immense task of pulling together personal accounts of several from the more significant events from the last century.

The first years were challenging times, with disease, limited resources and marauding bands of Arabs.
