August 18, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary from the 19th Amendment to the united states Constitution, which prohibited claims and the government from denying people the proper to vote on the basis of sex. This book reveals how the seventy-year-long battle for women’s suffrage was hard-won by leaders such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul, Carrie Chapman Catt, yet others.
